I must beg to differ. This is the guy who didn’t support Ledbetter legislation, which would have corrected the flaw in the law that led to the recent Supreme Court decision giving Lilly Ledbetter a whole lotta nuthin’ for decades of sex discrimination at work. He also talked down to a woman from the audience in a talk show who questioned him about it.

t-bone: I appreciate your better efforts. I don’t always respond to every point every time mostly because of time constraints. If I want to do a little digging before I respond to a particular point, I’ll do it if I have time; if not, I’ll take a pass. Obama was going to vote to confirm Roberts until a staffer warned him of the possible political fallout for him. Not an auspicious start for the democratic hopeful. More later when I have the time

I think our only viable option is voting for mccain. anything else risks an obama presidency. mccain is clearly the lesser of the two evils. i know there are many who don’t think they can bring themselves to vote for mccain, but in order to properly prevent an obama presidency, mccain must be our choice.

we need to organize in the states that have become must wins for obama. ohio, pennsylvania, florida, michigan, nevada, colorado, new mexico, georgia and virginia. i’ve been studying the map and if obama loses both florida and ohio, georgia and virginia become must wins for him. we must shut him out and make an electoral victory a non-possibility.

T-bone… very, very well put. And you are absolutely right… removing things that people said is censorship. Princess did it to me a couple of times, too. Saying that you own the site is akin to using your advantage to control what was said… and Piper told me that censorship was not a part of HireHeels.
That is the way of Fox News, and sometimes Keith Olbermann,(though he’s a lot more right) and that way leads to facism.

When you block people out, you fail to listen to people, sometimes people who are trying to help, not just you, but the greater good.
And I am sure that is not what HireHeels is about.

Kenosha Marge… you seem anxious to call names. “obamabots” “trolls” are what you call polite people with dissenting opinions, and, I think that’s unreasonable behavior, and I am asking you to stop.
I’m no one’s bot… I’ve expressed dissenting views with both candidates, as well as disgust with their lack of urgency.
I don’t think it is presumptuous to try to understand why people are saying what they are saying, I think it is extremely open-minded.
We are, and should be looking for objective criterion, that can explain what our viewpoints are, so that others may understand them, and if necessary, refute them.
That is democracy, and that is using the differences in opinions to come to a more basic version of the truth.
I’ve heard a lot, of articulate, well spoken, and polite reasons why voting for McCain seems to be simply spite, given that the politics of the two Democratic —–politicians—– is remarkably similar, and McCain is on the complete other side of a lot of issues.
However I’ve heard nothing but name calling from the other view point, often being completely without acknowledgement of the other’s perspective.
By all means, please, illuminate us as to why that perspective makes sense.

Good morning everyone. Looks like you had an infestation of Obamabots last night. Hope none of you got taken over by the pod people.

I own my vote as do each and every one of us. What I do with it is my damn business. I will never vote for Obama. I will probably vote for McCain. Nothing any troll says will change that. You waste bandwidth and time when annoying people that detest you and your pathetic candidate.

I supported Hillary. Didn’t worship her or think she was anything other than an exceedingly competent politician. She had no more right to tell me who to vote for than you do.

And please, can’t you do better than the nose and spite bit? It’s really old and tiresome. It’s also presumptuous of anyone to believe that they know why someone refuses to vote the way “they” think we should. Clueless. But that’s a given in an Obamabot.
