still no love for our mountain mama

All the pundits are quick to dismiss West Wirginia and what a win there WON’T MEAN for Hillary Clinton.  But few like to discuss what a potential loss there says about Obama.  As Wolfie reminded us on NBC’s Today Show this morning, “I think Democrats across the country tomorrow will be asking themselves why Senator Obama, with all of his money, with all of the great press, with voters being told that he is the inevitable nominee…why did Sen. Obama lose West Virginia by 15 points or so?”

Princess agrees and wants to discuss what Hillary so boldly tabled in her phoner with USA Today. Obama’s appeal is getting to be as narrow as his frame (princess likes a little meat on her bones!).  Early on in the race, his appeal was as exciting as a 75% OFF private sale @ Prada.  You don’t know why you loved what you bought – you just had to have it!!!  Then you got home and looked at the crisp shopping bags you proudly toted through soho and began to think… Did I really need to spend that much money….will I ever wear that dress…..can I really wear these shoes to work?  Then you get that sick feeling in your stomach as you think about facing those disciplined prada soldiers who will turn on you as fast as the African-American base turned on the Clintons.

Few in the media are willing to admit it but there’s something happening right now in this race – and I’m not just referring to West Virginia.  Slowly and steadily, buyer’s remorse is setting in… and the more they hear about Barack Obama’s super-left-of-center views, the less likely they will be to support him in the Fall.

Let’s hope the remaining “shoppers” figure it out quicker than those did in the early states.

argh!!!! if a 41pt. margin cannot elicit positive press coverage – what can? today not only is the media dismissing hillary victory, but they are amused by obama’s arrogance in ignoring hillary….this is getting quite disgusting to watch……she should run as an indy now while she is still on top…..it would shock the party, stick it to obama …. and give a media a new storyline……

But…but…she’s supposed to defer like a good deferential woman to the great shiny new male hero who will make everything magically delicious!

Padron me while I cought up a furball. Last time I checked, nobody had a lock on delegates. Fight on, Hillary!

minxie – she will continue to fight – just spoke to a campaign insider and she plans to keep pushing those stubborn super-delegates…and then there’s always the potential for a june surprise…who knows!?!?!

hello everyone. did you see that edwards is endorsing the unelectable one tonight after hill’s huge victory in wv? he’s doing this despite saying he wouldn’t endorse until the nominee was decided. how tacky. the ‘elite metrosexual losers for obama’ club just added another member.

    I just love this site.

The MSM can ignore her, the DNC can ignor her and BO can ignore her . . . but she is STILL STANDING and we are ALL STANDING WITH HER.

I am really looking forward to joining Hire Heels on 5/31 in DC.
